Fay from Tregear really has opened my eyes as she was signing the Mount Druitt Free shuttle bus petition. She was already looking for free bus shuttles to go to the following areas:
- From Mount Druitt to St Marys
- From Mount Druitt to Minchinbury
- From Mount Druitt to Penrith.
I did explain to her the following: usually shuttles buses are normally short looping trips that have a few stops to make it easy access for commuters to get around a business/community hub, that is an important need.
Inclusive of Mount Druitt Free shuttle bus full support she has for it. Fay was also determined to let myself know how important it is for Mount Druitt to have a free shuttle bus as all people should benefit from it. The aged and the people with disability cannot afford train fares and bus fares. The unemployed's problem has been solved with getting to places and not worrying about costs with having the Mount Druitt free shuttle bus coming into place.
