Everything is kept in suspense, with the Ministry of Transport, Transport for NSW, contesting Bus Operators and probably Council Officers.
One thing that is good is we will be dealing with one operator within the area - but that reduces the competition with Westbus existing Bus Region 1 and a monopoly of Busways Operators servicing our area for the next period of 5 years.
Whether it means good for the area, not sure we are prepared to open the doors to Busways and see if they wish to meet us and work with us ( who represent the commuters of Mount Druitt). I wonder what will happen with the Multi-Million Depot at Dunheved. It might be a transitional change over to Busways.
