When Will They Learn!!!! Anti-social Behaviour At Bidwill! We Do Not Approve of This! Wake up 'Young Australia'!

I have just received shocking news from community members first this morning about 7.10am, which was later confirmed throughout the day as I tried to contact the Busways Manager, Stephen Harper. His hands were full.

I have since received a report from Mr Harper reporting the following:

'We have a serious incident last night at Carlisle and Luxford Road Route 750 to Blacktown at 9.30pm, one of our buses was hit with two bottles of beer (stubbies full) which in turn smashed through the second window back from the drivers side and landed in side the bus. The second bottle entered through the opened drivers window and in turn hit him in the chest, bounced off and smashed the drivers security screen.

The emergency services were called and I attended the scene and the driver was OK shakened up and as precaution was taken to Hospital for check up. As a result the bus ended up on the footpath knocking over one of the new bus stop signs, this had the potential of being a fatality if it was on a any other road.

The Police have taken the bottles for evidence and they combed the area for more evidence, the offenders went running off as per usual.'

I have quite a few personal issues with this, which I think is mutually felt amongst the Bidwill community. This could be the main issue that may decide votes in the oncoming New South Wales State election. We continually urgently need a lot more policing around the area which can reduce the instances of crime including missile throwing, especially causing bodily harm. According to Polcie strengths - last December Mount Druitt has actual 195 police officers, which is a ration of one police officer protecting on average 287 population within Mount Druitt Post Code - refer 2006 Census. If one police officer per fifity population - then we would have a safer community: there would be continual patrolling of police cars, unmarked travelling police cars and undercover police officers travelling on piublic transport in pairs or acting like so, providing that public safety.

What makes these youths do these stupid, most stupid things in the community?

Is it really a fun thing to do for them? What fun is it if they are caught by the New South Wales Police and charged? Is it just to show off to your mates and prove to be a tougher guy/gal then the others, a power struggle with peers!

This is when the community needs to pull together, retrain these youths in being propper adults.Make them drive mick buses and let others throw mock full bottles of beer - let them understand how it feels. Let them apologise to the one's they. Let them  be severely accountable for any damages caused!

If we cannot have the extra policing required we need the operators to employ security guards on bus and trains or even just seeing the sight of police uniform should be a deterent to them.

Now we do not want to shem thes people , we want them to be re-educated in how to act social not anti-social. Respect for each other is all we are asking! Once we have respect for each other then the anti-social behaviour will not be there.Anyform of tranport is an essential service to provide to make life easier for the commuters that have trouble in the past of doing so!
