St Marys-Mt Druitt Star - For Transport Forum 19th March 2011

Here is the sorry in the St-Marys Mount Druitt Star regarding the Transport Forum:

Public transport forum on March 19

08 Mar, 2011 09:35 AM
The Mt Druitt Commuters Improvement Group invites residents to hear from Londonderry and Mt Druitt state election candidiates at a public transport forum at West Tradies on March 19.
Formerly known as Save Our Bus Services Mt Druitt and Surrounding Suburbs, the newly revamped group is a politically neutral public transport advocacy group.

Their motto is “making a difference” and to help improve the public transport services and infrastructure in Mt Druitt and surrounding suburbs.

Open to everyone, the forum is an opportunity for residents to meet the local candidates and other concerned community members and ask questions regarding public transport.

The forum will look at candidates' policies on public transport, who will answer pre-submitted questions from the public.

The forum is on Saturday March 19, 10.30am-12.30pm at West Tradies (formerly Mt Druitt Workers), 247 Woodstock Ave Dharruk. This forum is open to the first 250 people who register.

Due to time constraints, all questions must be pre-submitted and registered and any questions brought up on the floor will not be answered.

For those who want to attend, have a suggestion, want to submit question or see the questions asked, visit the group's blog: http://mountdruittcommuters.blogs pot.com. Or email mountdruitt_cig@hotmail.com or wayne.l_hdg@hotmail.com.au
