More Ideas From the Community For Safer Drivers And Community

Well speaking to members of the community of the problems we are having and bingo they provide instantaneous suggestions:

  • One female community member suggested that  as they have in taxis in USA, there is a distress signal ( hidden from the criminal), sent by the driver directly to both the local area police command and the Depot. This would depend on response time on the police.
  • The other is from a community member I met today, (there will a story on him after this blog) and it came from the female community member made  the above suggestion. The plastic guard that drivers have on the left side of their compartment should be extended to reach the front windscreen, allowing a small window gap to communicate and collect fares and provide tickets. Same as they operate at City Rail train stations.
These are 2 more ideas provided to us and we will  go for all these ideas to 'making a difference' in a safer transport system for all users and workers.
