Have located from searching campaign websites this policy from NSW Liberals regarding transport fares. You can consider if this will be fair once introduced, here is the link:

On the other hand we have NSW Labor Freezing fares since 12/10 - not mentioning any increase or decrease of fares.

Here is the LIberal article:

NSW Libs to Deliver Cheaper Train Fares and Reduce Queues for Regular Western Sydney Train Commuters

Regular train commuters will be rewarded with cheaper fares and shorter ticket queues under a plan to slash prices by up to $108 a year, Member for Penrith Stuart Ayres, Liberal Candidate for Londonderry Bart Bassett and Liberal Candidate for Mulgoa Tanya Davies announced today.
"Western Sydney train commuters have paid enough for Labor's rail failure over 16 years. Having spoken to commuters at local train stations I understand their frustration and the Liberal Party thinks it's time to give commuters a break," Mr Ayres MP said.
"Our policy results in cheaper fares, shorter queues, rewards regular commuters, and encourages people to leave their cars at home," he said.
"It's a win-win for Western Sydney rail commuters who deserve some good news after 16 years of Labor's failure and incompetence," Ms Davies said.
"Family budgets are stretched due to rising prices particularly from electricity– and that's why I want to help commuters by cutting their fares," she said
The new pricing structure will provide the following discounts:
Type of ticketDiscount from Labor's current priceSaving per annum
Monthly$9$108
Quarterly$25$100
Yearly$100$100
The ticket discount will apply to both the MyTrain monthly, quarterly and yearly tickets, as well as MyMulti tickets.
Labor's introduction of the MyZone ticket system abolished the discount for monthly fares and resulted in an additional 10,000 people joining tickets queues every month.
"The NSW Liberals & Nationals changes reduce the fare at every station in Western Sydney," Mr Bassett said.
"Our discounts to train fares are in addition to the NSW Liberals & Nationals commitment to build the South West and North West rail links, provide an additional 135 express rail services, improve station access for seniors and people with a disability, and upgrade safety measures at crime hot spots through our Park and Travel Safety Fund," he said.
