The Real Story Behind The Bus Cancellations!

Today of all days I had met (quietly shocked) a young gentleman who was affected by the machete attack on the Westbus driver the other night.

The young man has asked me to not publish his name - so I have respected his wishes! I do not know how things happen that I speak to the right people at the right time! It happens! I actually feel like a reporter when I place stories on the blog.
Anyway, straight from the  commuter who experienced what had happened:

He was on the was on the 10.10pm bus to Mount Druitt when the Westbus 780 reached the corner bus stop in the corner of Luxford Road and Bulolo Drive, heading towards Mount Druitt. He noticed three  youths, around the age of seventeen years, across the other side of the road approached the bus driver, running from the back of the bus: one of them held towards the bus drivers neck a machete approximately over 1 foot long. The three youths demand cash from the driver and the driver was so petrified of the reaction that could have finished his life. One youth endangered the bus drivers life with the machete aim at his neck while another youth was taking the cash from the till. The commuter was frozen with fear and very quiet, kept his head low as he seated in one of those folding seats facing the sides of the bus. He was hoping he wasn't seen, in case these young criminals as they were focusing on the driver themselves.

What happened is where the tank the police for intervening and taking control. The youths fled out of the bus as they did a marked police car (not tagging the bus) was patrolling around the scene , when they noticed these youths fleeing away.they caught of the youths who was 18 years of age and immediately charged him, the other two youths have not yet been seen. Apparently these youths may have been overpowering if they caused any further harm to the driver.

I think the bus driver reacted correct;y: when lives are at threat left the criminal take the money - that is little compared to a live being lost.

this young gentleman life may change dramatically as he can vision the  of the long machete being placed on the drivers neck keep appearing. He is a third party victim, as he had witnessed everything that had happened.
