On Friday, an elderly female commuter claims that she has bus connections problems catching her bus at Willmot. This seems to be confirm what Pauline, our group member from Willmot has been campaigning for for many a years. To add to this I believe she has the general support from the Willmot community, as it is a continuing issue.
Although Westbus seem to to be fixing this issue it tends to bring a big of heart-break when commuters meet bus at the scheduled time and if for unforeseen reason, the bus travels travels on an earlier scheduled time, then this is when commuters feel a bit unhappy by missing buses.
The second issue is that when the Westbus bus is pulling into Mount Druitt Station there is the situation of witnessing a train that that has collected passengers into their carriages at Mount Druitt Train Station depart. Thus allowing for a further delay to head to the final direction east of Mount Druitt Train Station. I personally am a lobbyist for better train to bus connections and also bus to train connections for Mount Druitt and all train stations up and down the Western Line. I hope you are all the same! I would would like to see more communication from both bus transport staff/management to train transport staff and management this can either be down with Internet technology, radio 2 to 3 way and you would have a New South Wales Transport Staff member would be the judge with any joint disputes.
