Council Elections - Don't Waste Your For Council Elections! Make It Count Towards Public Transport Improvements!

A majority of commuters are voters in the New South Wales Local Government Elections and each of you who do have a duty to vote for the candidate that you want to be elected for many local reasons.

If you are not a voter in the Council elections, you can then approach someone you know who is voting and give them your opinion of who and why you would vote for this person.

One thing is do not waste your vote - wasted vote will not elect a person as a Councillor.

In relation to public transport vote for the candidates that support to  local transport groups what want to see a change for improvements in the planning of local transport.

A lot of voters will think Local  Council have little or no involvement in public transport growth and improvement from a local aspect. Wong!

Recommendations from local council get the ball rolling in relation to getting the first step of providing public transport services and infrastructure to the local community.Without Council support  or initiatives to proceed, we would be living in the dark ages. So when you vote,if you want a Councillor to care about services in relation to  any aspects for public transport ask for their commitment towards public transport.

The candidate that have cared in the past should care for the public transport future! Vote with your heart!

In our Blacktown City Council, I can whole-heartedly give support to the following candidates that to date, after speaking to them personally I know will  strive for public transport improvements within Blacktown City Council:
Councillor Jacqueline Donaldson (Liberal)  Ward 5, Debbie Robertson (Greens) Ward 5 and Kathie Collins ( former labor now Independent)  Ward 3.

This is not to be used to persuade voters where to place their votes on the ballot  paper, only to show you who that I have personally met and believe that they have passion for public transport within the last couple of years.
