Cathy from Cranebrook catches City Rail trains from Penrith to City or Parramatta every week and prefers to travel on country train to and from home as finds there are different type of commuters catching the suburban trains.
What she means is that more business type people catch the country train as opposed to families, mothers with children, school children and youths on suburban trains.
In other words she is safer as a commuter on country trains, which are made for more comfort. Shouldn't we all be safer on all trains? The way I feel is I am as safe on public transport as the other people around myself are. Maybe that is what we need all more comfortable trains designed as per the country trains?
Also she claims with train patronage consideration should be given from understanding government cots to increase fast train services from every 20 minutes to every fifteen minutes.
