Yesterday, a young and enthusiastic Michael From Blacktown, was returning from a family day from the city, when he expressed to me is concern of hot air carriages (heading towards summer). His sister drove the family to the city to take his 'Nan', just arrived from New Zealand for a short holiday. They did a family tour of Sydney City and his sister wasn't there with her car and his 'Nan' wanted to travel back to Blacktown by train.
Although, the morning commence with rain the afternoon ended like winter and summer in one day. The heat was very exhaustive and exhilarating, yet the carriage we had had no air-conditioning, all windows were opened allowing heat to enter the carriage. His suggestion is to request for for more modern air-conditioned train carriages on the western line to make train travelling more comforting, even to overseas visitors.
