Group Member's Suggestion On Mount Druitt Station's Improvements

Peter  Kerr is one of our members, who is a forward positive thinker. He also has so many ideas for all  transport improvements around Mount Druitt. On behalf of our group, I have decided to video his ideas because if I put them in my own words it is not Peter speaking. His style of speaking can be taken like he is a tourist guide showing you what the world needs.

We will present each video in sequence:

I
- This video is an explanation of what is required to extend the concourse of the Mount Druitt train station. There are
two open ends (one in each side)that in the middle of the concourse once you are walking up or down ramps. This
would enable more room for commuters to move around.  Would you agree?

Here Peter is describing how he would like the railway line cleaned up on the sides of the Mount Druitt platforms. Only one side of the plat form has been  filmed. -  You be the judge whether Peter is right - I know  what my  answer is!

This is the downstairs side of the two gaps of the station ( of the first film showed) that needs to be in extended to  improve commuter traffic in and out of the Mount Druitt. The idea is to fill int he space upstairs with more flooring. Enable better access to the ticketing gates from all directions. Also mentioned was a suggestion that the Mountains express to Blacktown and then City stop at Mount Druitt train on weekends.

 .
Here Peter is describing that more shading, awnings are required as the platform seats are extremely hot in summer an exposed to rain during winter.

More picture on rubbish just dumped by commuters on the Railway line!

Peter's proposal to rid  the overgrown bushes and replace it.

We are not saying these are all good ideas  but these are ideas that we will propose to 'making a differnece' in public transport around Mount Druiit and in this case Trains and train station. This is where you as a                                community can assist and provide any feedback or provide your contribution to our group by contacting us.
