Well we have been waiting for 15 months or more for Blacktown City Council to finally find the funds to place a concrete slab on Whalan Bus stop - which was previously pulled down so quickly!
I know Roman wasn't built in a day and neither was Mount Druitt or Whalan. I was thinking how long it would take although Councillor Jacqueline Donaldson took the helm and had this accessible bus stop approved last year. As mentioned in Council's Budget - we have to wait for Capital Works Programs to commence based on budget and funds.
Thank you to the Senior Traffic Officer and Councillor Jacqueline Donaldson getting the bus stop accessible. Now this busy bus stop will be more comfortable and made it so easily accessible commuters will have a better life style and also businesses in Whalan will approve it!
