The inaugural Greater Western Sydney Community Sector 'Zest' Awards are here!
Although as a community member volunteer, I do not want to be rewarded financially as I feel the rewards come to youth with the work you do and the sudden positive you get that come as I always say, "Come when you least expect it to happen'. So I am completely satisfied. As a former group 'Save Our Bus Services, Mount Druitt And Surrounding Suburbs' the group reaped it rewards when 2 bus services were returned ( not fully) back to the Mount Druitt community.
The zest awards are there to acknowledge Community Sector agencies, groups,and individuals who have shown Zest. Enthusiasm, Strength and Tenacity in community activities in Western Sydney - 'Standing up for Western Sydney.
The categories for the 'Zest Awards' for exceptional performance of:
* Community Leader
