Reserved Train Engines Ready To Replace Sydney Trains Breaking Down - Seven Hills Commuter!

Ravi from Seven Hills travels by Sydney Trains twice a week to and from Town Hall and uses the Hills Buss 700 to and from Parramatta as well.

Although he feels the services are good, he does feel disheartened when  there are sometimes problems with time table especially with trains, causing 15-20 minutes delay. Buses can also be delayed up to 20 minutes.

He claims one of the solutions is to give better training to Sydney Trains staff ( inclusive of Management), so that they can look at ways trains can be on time if everyone works together. Another solution is that Sydney Trains should have a reserve Train Engine to replaces train engines that break down or even strict and proper maintenance checks are completed ensuring trains  are in perfect service to not break down.

More Money Spent On City Rail Trains And Drivers - Seven Hills Commuter

A very nice Macquarie University Student, Gaurav from Seven Hills travels to Macquarie park via the Westbus 611. which he finds is very good bus service that take him 20 minutes to get to Macquarie Park and also on a separate trip return.

One of the improvements he would like to see in public transport is the AM City Rail,  delays in the morning up to 20 minutes late that happens to his friends travelling to the City and also happens to himself, when he works. Sometimes when his friends get to work, their bosses where they work are upset  with them as they are not arriving on time.

He advice was that money does need to be spent on our government in improvements in trains and importantly drivers and maybe more rail tracks need to  planned to move more commuters to more parts of Sydney and the  Greater Western Sydney. Reference was made to 'The Sydney Age' where there was an article  about India's railway where there has been a growth in Rail public transport, focus in rail public transport train services every 20 minutes and a 200 per cent profit per annum.

Seven Hills Commuter - Comfortable Air-Conditioned Trains Required

Eva a happy commuter from Seven Hills sometimes catches City Rail trains for relation to the City of Sydney.  She has passionately got feelings for improvements with Wentworthville,Pendle Hill and Toongabbie with upgraded lifts which is required when it becomes a struggle to cart luggage.

And primarily trains should always have air-conditioning in summer is out-of-date, compared to Melbourne and Perth this is not seen of uncomfortable trains - NSW State Government should do something about it!

Buses To Replace Trains In Non-Time Table City Rail Services - Suggestion by Seven Hills Commuter

Again, day to day when I speak to wonderful people who commute on buses, trains & taxis - each person has theor own quality of response to improvements on either one or all forms of public transport. Really it is  placing them in the 'Hot Seat of Decision' and providing their momentary reaction to suddenly find an answer to what they would like improved!

So last night I spoke to Lucy from Seven Hills catches City Rail Trains from Seven Hills to Granville for work each workday week and is not concerned of her train station, yet worried of  other commuters from other train stations. She says that Seven Hills has more than ample amount of train services but her sister  catching trains from Pendle finds if missing a train, there is up to half an hour wait to catch the next train. Not only Pendle Hill train station also Toongabbie and Wentworthville. So her suggestion is for shuttle buses taking commuters from smaller train stations (when there is no time table at these train stations) to  Westmead or Seven Hills , where is a better chance to get an improved service.

Actually, when you think of the idea, it could be good! what do you think?

Second Access Lifts Required - Seven Hills Commuter

On last Saturday,  a young Nikita from Seven Hills travels on weekends to Parramatta  or other major shopping hubs by City Rail.

She would like to to see NSW Government focus on Disability Access for the intellectually disabled commuter to make it to work and travel on public transport they require clear an precise  announcements and not to speak to fast on trains carriages.

She also provided a situation where a wheel chair  have to bypass the usual train station due to lifts were not working  - thus the delay was to return to the same station coming from the opposite direction. The problem was the commuter was due to make an appointment that day and may have missed his appointment.

The suggestion here it to have to have a second accessible lift on platforms, to prevent this from happening on the Western line

More City Announcements Required For Stopping Red Signal Trains

An interesting gentleman called Rami from Seven Hills - travels to Central Station by City Rail trains from Seven Hills, Monday to Fridays and claims what is annoying  is when the train stops on a red signal for a few minutes or amount of time.

Then there is little or no announcements as on the way home he has to pick up his children from a day care centre and if his is late - this causes problems for his wife day centre centre and himself. Announcements should be made even if it good or bad news re why train has stopped!

Do We Need 'Pee-bags' On Trains?

Amil from Seven Hills catches City Rail train weekly to and from Redfern to work claims he would like to see the speed of trains reach 80km per hour - this will provide a better travelling time for every one that caches trains.

Also h has experienced train carriages that have been stinking of urination, especially on night services and suggests regular cleaning of trains while they are not being used at least every 12 hours would solve the problem.

Editors Notes:
I have noticed sometimes this happens but I found a story - that you may or may not like ( pardon the expression) passed by the Dutch Government 'Pee-bags'
