A Weekend Problem For A Commuter!

This morning I was talking to a local commuter who catches the 755 on my bus stop and was asked why aren't bus services catered for him on weekends especially Sunday mornings.

This commuter would like an earlier bus service to take to work to Auburn on time that means meeting train connections on time (and that's without buses replacing trains). At present on Sundays he would just get to work on time, which is around 10 am if he catches the first bus around 8.30am - I understand bus services are there for the public but if there is any lateness then this can cause lateness for crucial work - which it turn could be a loss of employment due to inefficient public transport.

So I (as well as others) applaud this commuter for speaking out politely and I (as well as others) feel for him and will lobby for earlier bus services on weekends.
