More Safety Officers And On Time Trains Required On Western Line - Bidwill Commuter

Tariq from Bidwill travels from Mount Druitt to Parramatta and returns to work almost every day and is another commuter concerned of cancelled or delayed trans that may prevent him to get to work on time.

His suggestion is for Sydney Trains to probably place more staff on to get the services running on time, ensuring properly maintained and service checks are completed. He does understand the reasons for these setbacks and breakdowns feeling that in general all trains should be properly checked and fix it up, as well as the tracks they run on. This is vital to reduce the effects of breakdowns and delays of Sydney Trains.

Another issue he feels should be fully addressed by the NSW Government is the issue of 'Commuter Safety'. Safety in Public Transport travelling is important. He feels that more and more safety officers, should be placed each and every train trip around Sydney and Western Sydney. This is so that commuters do not have to face possible intoxicated commuters causing potential problems for other commuters. These officers should be made ready and available to control these issues if they are at the spot of causing trouble.

Late Buses And How Buses Can Catch Up On Time Table!

So what happened to a local commuter a few years ago, in Mount Druitt, is something that I hope doesn't happen to anyone in the area today.

And so comes his story.... He claims he went after work at night to catch his bus from Bidwill and he singled the driver. The bus driver went past him as quick as possible and didn't pick him up. The bus wasn't full.

He contacted the Bus depot next day and was told that, the bus driver was running late and was given instructions 'not' to pick up    commuters as to catch up with times table times. Has this happened to you?

Extra Bus Services for Busways 745 - Required On Saturdays - Bidwill Commuter!

People talk and people talk to me as well as others. People come to me and talk and I go to them to listen, learn and apply. Apply what they would like and want in speeches  to individuals, groups of public transport stake holders and most importantly blogs.

So last week, an elderly bus commuter came up and asked me why on Saturdays the Busways 745 has only a 2 hourly service from Bidwill to Plumpton (an important link for the community). At the same time, I notice this is another bus service that has no service on Sundays.

Again, if buses are missed a long wait or go home and come back to the Bidwill bus stops.

Bidwill Commuter Has New Driver Issues!

A very young lady who ran 'the mile in one minute' this morning - so to say - was exhausted from having limited timed  linking from bus train to train  this morning.

Brana catches the Busways 750 bus  which arrives around 6.06-6.09 am at Bidwill and normally arrives late with "New drivers' being trained in this time of the morning usually. This bus arrives at Bidwill around 6.15 am, arriving late and then arriving late at  mount Druitt Bus Interchange - sometimes she will miss the 25 past train or even just make it for the train connection to Parramatta, in Mount Druitt  Interchange to train station record.

Brana understands that bus drivers need their training when they are new but this has been happening for a couple of months. Would like to make a suggestion not to just chose her  750 route to  spread the training around Mount Druitt in that time of the morning.

Even a suggestion was to try new bus driver training on school  bus runs as they generally run down same streets as other routes!
