Commuters talks on transport issues
THE Mt Druitt Commuters Improvement Group is inviting community members concerned about public transport in the area to visit its stall at Dawson Mall on March 22.
The stall will be open from 9am-noon and will provide contact and membership information for the community group. Vice president Anne Goncalves said the group aimed to help the community to voice concerns about public transport availability.
“We’d be happy to help you obtain a better service within Mt Druitt and surrounding suburbs,” she said. “It’s about helping the community. Let’s band together for a better transport service in the Mt Druitt area.”
The group meets on the last Saturday of the month at West Tradies club, Woodstock Avenue, in Dharruk.
